Delete the last dashed item for battery-operated appliances.

Note of the Secretary: Based on the decision made for IEC 60335-2-122 in 61/6777/CDV and 61/691A/RVC, comment 11, and as implemented in a number of other Part 2 standards where battery-operated appliances are unlikely, such as the MT32 standards, battery-operated appliances were not specifically added to the Scope of -2-78.
