This British Standard gives guidance and recommendations for planning, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the sustainable development of parks through the use of smart technologies in order to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) [1]. It is applicable to any urban, rural or marine public park, large or small, in any geographical location where effective use of smart technologies can bring benefits to diverse communities of people and animals, and the natural environments in which they reside.
