Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, GSE/6 is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of British Standards in the field of hydrogen technologies – specifically but not limited to systems and devices for the production, storage, transport, measurement and use of hydrogen, and providing the UK’s input to ISO/TC 197 and its subcommittees, CEN/CLC/JTC 6 Hydrogen in energy systems, and CEN/TC 268/WG 5 Specific hydrogen technologies applications. Cryogenic vessels and aerosols are outside the scope of this committee.
