Overview: Under the direction of CPL/34,is responsible for standards for the safety and performance of lamp controlgear, including ballasts, convertors, invertors etc. It mirrors the work of International Committee IEC/SC 34C : Auxiliaries for lamps. It provides UK expertise to the maintenance agency COMEX of this International Committee and any other Panels established within this IEC forum. CPL/34/3 also provides the UK input into European Committee CENELEC TC 34Z on the subject of lamp controlgear.
