Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for: the UK input into the work of IEC/TC 81, which prepares international standards and guides for lightning protection for structures, as well for persons, installations, services and contents; the UK input into CLC/TC 81X, which deals with the same area for European standards; and liaison with other BSI Committees having a responsibility for standards with lightning protection implications.
