Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to CEN/TC 139, ISO/TC 35, ISO/TC 35/SC 9, and their working groups. The national committee represents the standardisation interests of the UK Surface Coatings Industry and related organisations in the development and review of test methods which can be used globally by the Industry to evaluate its products at all stages of development, manufacture and use. The national committee works closely with ‘ISENFE/8 Corrosion of metals and alloys’ and ‘STI/21 Surface preparation of steel'
