Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to ISO/TC 45/SC 4 "Products (other than hoses)" (excluding ISO/TC 45/SC 4/WG 5 [Gloves and other latex products], WG 8 [Flexible and semi-rigid cellular material] and WG 13 [Coated fabrics]), CEN/TC 366 "Materials obtained from End-of-Life Tyres (ELT)" and CEN/TC 208 "Elastomeric seals for joints in pipework and pipelines". To develop British Standards for rubber and rubber products (other than hoses, gloves and coated fabrics) including elastomeric seals for joints in pipework and pipelines as well as end-of-life tires if and when required.
