Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the preparation of standards for the design, manufacture and performance of fire blankets and fire extinguishers and for providing the UK input into ISO/TC21/SC2 and CEN/TC70 and to provide recommendations in an advisory capacity for relevant UK participation in other international organizations concerned with fire extinguishers.
