Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to the main European committee for welding (CEN/TC 121) and the main international committee for welding (ISO/TC 44) and subcommittee SC14 welding and brazing in aerospace. It also maintains a watching brief over the work on welding standards to ensure that there is no contradiction between work in different areas.
