It mirrors CEN/TC 166, work which is the standardization in the field of chimneys and vents used for conveying the products of combustion from appliances to outside atmosphere and the connecting pieces and ancillaries needed for their construction and operation. B/506 also mirrors CEN/TC 297 on structurally independent chimneys.
