This document applies only to static watt-hour meters of accuracy classes A, B and C for the measurement of direct current electrical active energy in DC systems and it applies to their type tests.
EN 50470-4 was published in 2023 and proposed for citation under MID but citation was refused by EC, mainly because EN 50470-4 is linked to EN IEC 62052-11 which was not accepted for citation because it was not listed in the standardisation request M/541. A new standardisation request related to MID is in preparation, and also an updated amendment of EN IEC 60252-11/2021 is in progress (pr = 79939). This new project will allow to prepare a amendment to EN 50470-4, related to EN IEC 62052-11:2021/prAC, with the target that both EN IEC 62052-11:2021/prAC and future EN 50470-4:2023/A1 (this new project) will be listed in OJEU for MID.
