This document defines terms relating to the Nuclear Digital Ecosystem (NDE). These terms are used by the parts of the ISO 18136 series
Purpose
ISO 18136 Vocabulary part aims at consolidating the vocabulary terms from parts of the ISO 18136 series into one singular vocabulary standard.
Justification
The ISO 18136 series is uniquely positioned to address the process industry needs for integrating lifecycle data. It will consist of multiple parts, including vocabulary terms, data models, reference data, requirements, figures and diagrams.
Having single vocabulary will eliminate terms duplication, reduce the effort and time required to revise existing parts and develop new parts of the ISO 18136 series.
Also, it will be easier to share one vocabulary with external stakeholders in the Nuclear industry, academia, and among standards developers. (Please use this field or attach an annex
