Operational controls are identified for Modules and MEGCs while they are being transported, when they are stationary and being filled or unloaded, and other post-manufacturing considerations.
Operational controls are key to the safety of modules and MEGCs when they are in service. Design standards for cylinders, tubes, and large tubes are developed with consideration for expected events during the service life. Operational controls consider events that may occur, and provide means to limit exposure to undesirable events.
