This document specifies two test methods to manually measure technical ball girth and /or ball width inside of the shoe using apparatus.
This document is applicable to all types of footwear with closed toe part and closed heel part.
The proposed document provides a test method for measuring the effective shoe ball girth and ball width to prevent sizing labelling errors and ensure properly fitting shoes to consumers. With this standard, consumers will get correctly marked shoes with better fitting.
