This PAS provides guidance and recommendations on the content and minimum information requirements for manuals used in UAS regulatory submissions.
The PAS covers the content and minimum information requirements for flight manuals, conformity checks and maintenance manuals used for UK SORA based UAS regulatory submissions for SAIL 1-3.
It does not cover operations manuals, instructions for the SORA submission process or SAIL 4-6.
This PAS is of use to UAS designers and operators.
This PAS might be of interest to third-party organizations supporting UAS designers or operators, e.g. maintenance organizations, training organizations and Recognised Assessment Entity for Flightworthiness’.
