Annexes H to P provide additional specific requirements for each type of LED lamp. In particular, Annex H specifies LEDi lamps with Edison caps, some of which were historically designed for use only in the US and Japan. However, these lamps are not suitable for use in Europe, because the cap-holder systems do not comply with European safety requirements. Therefore, lamps with these caps should be excluded from prEN IEC 63554:2025.
