Scope

This work consists in updating Annex G by recalculating the examples of calculations, and adding a new normative Annex H where the SNQ calculation method will be defined.

Purpose

There are two reasons for revising EN 12354-5: (i) EN ISO 12354-1 and -2 are being revised and Part 5 must be harmonized accordingly, particularly its Annex G (informative), where the examples of calculation are the same as in Part 1 and 2 and must be recalculated; (ii) Part 5 must define the method for calculating Single Number quantities (SNQ) for comparing structure-borne sound sources, such as waste water installations characterized in the lab (need from EN 14366-1).
