Add an additional informative annex about the precision of the method and some changes about ventilation are part of this revision as well as the urgently needed allowance for LED light source as the currently described Halogen light source will become obsolete in the near future.
Following on from WG4 review of the SR result for EN 13823:2020+A1:2022 ‘Reaction to fire tests for building products - Building products excluding floorings exposed to the thermal attack by a single burning item’ (see N 3565) a revision of the standard is needed. The previous work item for an amendment ran out of time and the SR gave comments which justify a full revision. The revision will incorporate a new annex with reproducibility and some urgently needed changes to allow for LED light source are part of this revision. The current WI 00127468 for a 2nd Amd is very late and will be abandoned and the Amd work folded into the revision.
