This document does not cover testing of fire detection and fire alarm systems.
EN 14972-1:2025, Annex A is a guideline for developing fire test protocols for water mist systems and is not part of the scope of EN 14972-1:2025, which is a standard for design, installation, inspection and maintenance of water mist systems. Therefore it should be transferred to its own standard, which this work item intents to achieve.
Having Annex A as its own standard, would prevent current misuse on the market of Annex A.
This document should be published together with the revision of EN 14972-1 or earlier, so that it can replace EN 14972-1:2025, Annex A.
