In addition to the common requirements given in EN 15182 1:—, this document specifies the specific safety and performance requirements and the corresponding test methods, applicable to handheld combination branchpipes (nozzles), with a nominal pressure of 16 bar (1,6 MPa) PN 16, with a maximum flow rate up to 1 000 l/min at a reference pressure of 6 bar (0,6 MPa).
This has been adapted to the current state of the art. It provides a minimum level of safety and performance criteria.
Its purpose is not to define a specific branchpipe design but to help the user in understanding and choosing the correct equipment.
