Scope

ISE/100 is responsible for the UK input to ISO/TC 17/SC 20, ISO/TC 17/SC 4, CEN/TC 459/SC 5, CEN/TC 459/SC 12 and CEN/TC 459/SC 13 for standardisation for the sampling and technical delivery conditions, classifications and designation of steels. Additionally, ISE/100 is responsible for standards for wrought, alloy, bright, free-cutting and stainless steel products for general engineering use. As well as Heat treatable alloy steels, and free cutting steel and Stainless steels.

Purpose

Merge of 3 committees (ISE/105, ISE/107 and existing to provide better overall impact and engagement with industry. Migration of ISO/TC 17 SC 21 from ISE/1 along with experts.
