Standards Development
Under the direction of SPSC, is responsible for developing standards in the field of plastics and rubbers, including terminology. Responsible for coordinating UK input into ISO/TC 45, ISO/TC 61 and CEN/TC 249 and for providing guidance to other groups which participate in the work of ISO/TC 45, ISO/TC 61 and CEN/TC 249.
BSI propose to establish a new technical committee which will bring together four existing technical committees, PRI/200, PRI/300, PRI/90 & PRI/10.
This will consolidate the committees work programmes, mirror the work taking place in ISO/TC 45, ISO/TC 61 and CEN/TC 249 and provide guidance to other groups which participate in the work of ISO/TC 45, ISO/TC 61 and CEN/TC 249.
