Scope

This document specifies a method for intelligent inspection of radar blind areas, and applies to ships equipped with X-band (8-12 GHz) and S-band (2-4 GHz) marine radars.

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to specify the basic requirements for smart inspection methods of radar blind area and to provide procedures for the evaluation of inspection data. It covers operational and environmental requirements, installation requirements for positioning devices, coordinate system fusion methods, flight path generation methods, and radar blind area calculation and evaluation methods. The aim is to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of navigation light installation inspection through intelligent means.
