Scope of EN 1995-1-1
(1) EN 1995-1-1 gives general design rules for timber structures.
(2) EN 1995-1-1 also gives specific design rules for buildings and timber civil engineering works.
The amendment of EN 1995-1-1 will primarily consider the following:
— Update of references;
— Editorial and technical comments received during the Formal Vote (FV) stage (which are not implemented by CCMC), see SC5 N2274;
— Editorial and technical comments received in ballot launched by SC 5 requesting proposed amendments A1, see SC5 N2293;
— Additional technical and editorial comments from Members and relevant WG’s involved in drafting.
