Scope

The NA gives national choices on Nationally Determined Parameters as described in EN 1993-5:202Xs. Also, UK decisions on the status of informative annexes and inclusion of any NCCI.BS EN 1993-5 has new Annexes included that the UK should provide guidance on.

Purpose

EN Eurocodes allow NSBs to produce a standalone National Annex (NA) which contain national choices and application of informative annexes.

With second-generation EN Eurocodes been published, it is important that national choices are updated accordingly through a related National Annex (NA).
