Scope

The National Annexes to the BS ENs provide UK decisions where national choice is allowed.It is not intended to vary the scope of the BS EN, although clarification might be required with respect to the definite exclusion of rubble mound and akin coastal structures.

Purpose

EN Eurocodes allow NSBs to produce a standalone National Annex (NA) which contain national choices and application of informative annexes.

With second-generation EN Eurocodes been published, it is important that national choices are updated accordingly through a related National Annex (NA).
