Scope

This part of lSO 9928 specifies the general requirements for the contents of an operating manual of jib cranes as defined in ISO 4306-4. It is intended to be used in conjunction with ISO 9928-1.

Purpose

• Add new part to the ISO 9928 series of crane operating manual system

• Apply the crane operating manual requirements of ISO 9928-1 in the field of jib cranes

• Closely work within the scope of ISO/TC 96/SC 8 and address the defined objectives listed in Strategic Business Plan of ISO/TC96

• Support the operating manual of jib cranes by person

• Offer reference to the manufacturer and the purchaser of jib cranes
