This document covers the general requirements that related to testing, reporting, and safety of wheelchairs or their associated accessories.
The purpose of this document is to provide for fundamental safety and testing requirements for wheelchairs and their associated accessories (such as cushions and postural support devices) to ensure that these are encompassed in the ISO 7176, 16840, and other SC1 wheelchair standards, and to avoid repetition.
