Scope

No changes compare the IEC 62973-4 Version. No European Annex is necessary for Part 4. Ni-MH-batteries for auxiliary power supply systems have no future importance in Europe in the railway rolling stock sector.

Purpose

No technical additions to IEC 62973-4 are necessary. This part of the standard series shall not be published earlier than parts 1 to 3 including the three amendments of it.
