Scope

The scope of EN 1991-1-1 is broadly the same as in first generation. EN 1991-1-1 covers:

- specific weight of construction materials and stored materials;

- self-weight of construction works;

- imposed loads for buildings.

Purpose

EN Eurocodes allow NSBs to produce a standalone National Annex (NA) which contain national choices and application of informative annexes. The NA to BS EN 1991-1-1:2025. , is needed to address national choices in the BS ENs
