Scope

IEC TS 62271-5:2024 applies to DC switchgear and controlgear designed for operation on HVDC transmission systems having direct voltages of 100 kV and above.

Purpose

Adopation of IEC TS 62271-5 According to the CIV we have a majority for adopation of the document: Answer to Q.1: IEC TS 62271-5 (consider that adoption of the other DC TS documents is suspended to adoption of this document) 8 Y Finland; France; Italy; Lithuania; Norway; Romania; Türkiye; United Kingdom 4 N Germany; Hungary; Spain; Switzerland.
