Scope

• Assessment of international invoicing standards and practices

• High level gap analysis with the current standardization deliverables

Purpose

CEN/EN 16931-1 describes the data model to be used when exchanging e-invoices within the EU. CEN/TS 16931-3 describes the syntax bindings for the 2 compliant syntaxes plus the Edifact syntax. This work item creates a study to give an overview of how the work done for the EN16931 can be reused to exchange e-invoices at global level.
