Scope

This document specifies a method for the identification of the type of elastomers in granulates or powder derived from EndofLife Tyres. The method specified is a qualitative method only.

Purpose

The Technical Specification specifies a method for the identification of the type of elastomers in granulates or powder derived from EndofLife Tyres. The method specified is a qualitative method only.

In order to check the robustness of the test method a RRT has been launched involving 4 laboratories. After the RRT some modifications of the procedure has been discussed.

Considering the positive results of RRT it is proposed the conversion of the TS as EN with a new revised draft proposal considering the results of RRT.
