This document defines the methods to characterize and measure the performance of single-photon sources, as general fundamentals for quantum metrology and related materials, devices, systems and applications.

Purpose

This document can be applied to guide the research and development of high-performance single-photon sources, which is helpful for advanced quantum applications based on single-photon sources.
