Purpose
This standard is a revision of standards ISO 5326, ISO 5327, ISO 5328 and ISO 5329. It is the merging of those four standards into one in order to simplify the use and the understanding of these standards. End-user will therefore have one standard instead of four and may compare the values for hardwood and softwood species. Furthermore, it will be updated as the standard have not been revised since almost 50 years.
