Standards Development
This document provides requirements on markings for the terminals and tappings of power transformers in accordance with the rules given by IEC 60445 – Basic and safety principles for man- machine interface, marking and identification - Identification of equipment terminals, conductor terminations and conductors.
Only simple examples are illustrated, more complicated cases, e.g. two units in one tank, being subject to agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser.
The predecessor document is of type ‘TR’. In order to increase the documents usability and therewith harmonize the terminal and tappings marking, it is necessary to move the document type into IS and include the document into the IEC 60076 series.
