This document specifies AAL services that use smart speakers in the CHE. In particular, the necessary AAL devices and AAL Information systems for each AAL service.
In a Connected Home Environment (CHE), this proposal can be used as a guidance document for building AAL services based on the smart speaker.
This can improve the quality of life for AAL care recipients.
That is, Various IoT devices and systems are emerging that can be used in a Connected Home Environment (CHE). In CHE, IoT devices and systems can support Active Assisted Living (AAL).
However, most IoT devices and systems are inconvenient for AAL care recipients to control due to challenges such as old age, disabilities, and other limitations.
Smart speakers can provide AAL care recipients with a user -friendly interface and scalability, offering convenient interaction methods such as voice commands and touch screens, as well as seamless integration with IoT devices and systems.
Above all, smart speakers can be integrated with IoT devices and systems in CHE to enable convenient and accessible "AAL services" for AAL care recipients.
Therefore, our focus is on how to utilize smart speakers to design "AAL Services" within the scope of WG5, providing guidance in an SRD on how these services can support AAL care recipients in a Connected Home Environment (CHE).
