Scope

This document specifies the design requirements for the location, architecture, environmental facilities, experimental processes, experimental management, data management, safety and health, and sustainable development of the dairy product smart laboratory.

Purpose

Dairy products, as an important food, their quality and safety have a direct impact on people's life and health. Especially for infants, children and the elderly, we should pay special attention to their health whether in developed or developing countries.

The consumption of dairy products is globally. In traditional laboratories, due to the fact that people can interfere with samples and data at will, the authenticity and reliability of the data often have problems, thereby threatening the health of infants, children and the elderly! The smart laboratory utilizes automation, digitalization and intelligence technologies to avoid human interference with data, which can better ensure people's health.

Therefore, International Standards for smart dairy laboratories is proposed to support more countries, especially developing countries, in ensuring people's health.

This proposal provides guidance for the design of dairy smart laboratory, covering design requirements such as the location selection, architecture, environmental facilities, experimental procedures, experimental management, and data management of the dairy smart laboratory. At the same time, it takes into account the health and well-being of laboratory users, environmental impacts, the actual division and layout of experimental and support areas, in order to provide a reliable, safe, energyefficient and sustainable laboratory that guarantees dairy product quality and safety, and protects the health of infants, children and the elderly.
