Scope

This document specifies the procedure for the determination/calculation of the dry matter content of inorganic fertilizers for which the results of the performed analysis are expressed in relation to the dry matter.

Purpose

In the frame of standardization request M/564 and its amendments harmonized standards shall refer to test methods to be applied for verifying the conformity of CE marked fertilizing products with the requirements set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/1009. This European Standard deals with the determination of the dry matter content in inorganic fertilizers to support Regulation (EU) 2019/1009.
