Standards Development
This document is intended to act as a guidance and reference framework for the identification, implementation, and life cycle delivery of a maintenance strategy for facility managers.
The purpose and justification of the document to be prepared shall be made clear, and the need for standardization of each aspect. The purpose of this document is to support a maintenance management framework encompassing all aspects and life cycles of the built environment, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), within the management responsibility of the facility manager, FM organization and others engaged in all forms of maintenance activities to meet the demand organization’s requirements and obligations.
