Preferentially the gold content of the alloys lies between 50 ‰ (parts per thousand) and 990 ‰ gold.
Gold in jewellery alloys is typically performed in the precious metal industry by Cupellation method (fire assay). This method allows to determine all elements in a precious metal alloy with one method at the same time and is less influenced by other elements
