Find out what cookies we use and how to disable themThis European standard deals with the safety of electrically operated conveyor dishwashing machines for washing plates, dishes, glassware, cutlery and similar articles (e.g. trays, food containers), with or without means for water heating or forced hot air drying, not intended for household use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase machines connected between one phase and neutral and 480 V for other machines. The spraying pressure shall not exceed 1 MPa
The following main changes will be introduced in the standards: - alignment with EN IEC 60335-1+A11+prAM12 - Introducing link to MR instead of MD (Annex ZZx + additional requirements) - Introducing Annex dedicated for hygiene - Introducing New Definition and explanation of machine zones and workstations - Focus on redrafting of the following requirements: • Hazards of crushing, detailed essential requirements for hazardous moving parts, implementation of measurable speeds, modification of stability requirements • Annex BB (Water backflow siphonage prevention in accordance with EN 61770) • Annex CC (Noise) - Additional supplementary requirements coping them from IEC 60335-2-58 (Ed 4.0): • Clause 3: 13 additional new terms, 1 modified • Clause 20: 7 new subclauses, 2 modified • Clause 22: 3 new subclauses, 1 modified • Additional 5 Figures for better explanation of testing requirements
