This BSI Flex gives design recommendations for mobile and static gaseous hydrogen refuelling systems intended for roadworthy heavy duty vehicles. It covers the design, manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of both mobile and stationary compressed hydrogen refuelling sites within the UK, with fuelling pressures up to 70 MPa (700 bar).

This BSI Flex is applicable to the implementation of mobile and static elements of gaseous hydrogen refuelling systems.

This BSI Flex is of use to designers, manufacturers, installers, operators, inspectors and maintenance personnel of non-retail, commercial hydrogen refuelling systems for heavy duty vehicles.

This BSI Flex might be of interest to designers, manufacturers, installers, operators, inspectors and maintenance personnel of commercial hydrogen refuelling systems for light commercial vehicles and for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) application.

This BSI Flex does not cover marine, aviation, aerospace, rail applications or retail filling stations.

This BSI Flex does not provide details for installation or operation of on-site hydrogen production technologies. It does not cover liquid hydrogen storage and/or dispensing
