Scope

This document provides guidance for governments, businesses, and other stakeholders in using the 12 principles of collaborative business relationships provided in ISO/TR 44000 to improve their capability to align their aims and objectives to contribute to the UN Strategic development goals.

Purpose

The world today is more complex and interdependent than ever so delivering these goals in the main cannot be achieved in isolation as such the 17th SDG introduces the concept of partnership. This requires organisations and individuals to collaborate to effectively address these challenges and at the same time collectively address the implications of change where necessary and align the potential benefits. Yet the terms partnership and collaboration can mean different things to each partner. The publication of ISO 44001 provides a framework where these concepts can be jointly explored and agreed whether as formal or informal arrangements. (Please use this field or attach an annex)
