New Work Item Proposal Electronic invoicing - Part 11: e-Receipt syntaxes

Scope

Assessment of use cases of the e-receipt and the simplified invoices, targeted at the technological environment and the legal context, with the aim to determine what syntaxes are used or how the information exchanged is serialized.

Purpose

CEN/TS 16931-8 “Semantic data model of the elements of an e-receipt or a simplified electronic invoice” has been approved. In order to be used, syntax bindings of this semantic model need to be available. An e-receipt has a different use than an electronic invoice, of which TC434 already published syntax bindings (CEN/TS 16931-3-2, 3-3 and 3-4). To determine to which syntaxes the model of the e-receipt needs to be bound, a study needs to be performed. This NWIP has the objective to perform that study. Based on use cases of the e-receipt/simplified invoice, the study will determine what syntax bindings are needed by the market. TC434 then will create work items to produce those syntax bindings.
