Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, content, and writing requirement for decoction pieces prescription. It regulates qualification of prescription writing, prescription of precious medicines, prescription of toxic and anesthetic medicines, and institution-based prescription, etc.

Purpose

1. To strengthen the management of Chinese medicine and specify the prescription of Chinese medicine.

2. To promote the digitization, informatization and the progress of Internet plus service of Chinese medicine, to guarantee the stability, reliability and safety of the quality of Chinese herbal pieces in the service work flow.

3. To construct the service standard system of Chinese medicine, further improve the standard system of Chinese medicine, in line with ISO series standards such as ISO18668 series, ISO 20334, etc.; and enhance the consciousness of standardization management.

4. To specify the prescription of Chinese medicine. Ensure the safety of clinical medication in Chinese medicine so as to maintain the reputation, social status and reputation of Chinese medicine in the common people
