This document details functional, mechanical, electrical and marking requirements, test methods, and test conditions, including immunity to external influences covering electromagnetic and climatic environments.
Amendment A11 of EN IEC 62052-11:2021 has been published and proposed to European Commission for listing in OJEU under MID and EMCD. The citation has been said possible for MID but not for EMCD. EN IEC 62052-11:2021/A11:2022 has been modified in EN IEC 62052-11:2021/A12:2024 to remove link to EMCD and listed under MID only. This new amendment A13 will take into account the latest inputs from EC so that it will be possible to list it under EMCD (and MID). This amendment will also embed an additional test waveform to ensure immunity against severe current transients which were investigated in the EMPIR MeterEMI project.
