Scope

This document describes the preparation of a hot water extract for the determination of certain migrants in paper and board intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.

Purpose

The aim of the proposal is to revise technical points of the draft in order to have a better understanding for the lab on the way of making measurement according to the standard. A second point is the introduction of the short time 30mn described in the French
