The design of steel welded flange plates for lighting columns, including welded-on and welded-through construction types. The approach is not suitable for the use of aluminium lighting column with welded flange designs.
The flange plate forms part of the lighting column structure and there is currently no method of verification by calculation for these components. This TR would provide this missing requirements / guidance.
