EN16931-1 Electronic invoicing - Part 1: Semantic data model of the core elements of an electronic invoice
EN16931-1 was published in 2017 and is used widely, mainly because European and national legislation mandated the use of it by governmental institutions. A revision is now needed to:
- Process feed-back from users, who indicated a number of improvements
- Bring EN16931-1 in line with the extension methodology under development by CEN/TC434
- Include new requirements triggered by the VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) proposals of the European Commission.
